SUMMARY:BMFA Scale Indoor Nationals
DESCRIPTION:This two-day event sees the finest indoor Scale aeromodellers from the UK and Europe converge on the West Midlands to compete at the BMFA Scale Indoor Nationals. \n\nSaturday sees the Scale Indoor RC Nationals take place followed on Sunday by the Scale Indoor FF Nationals.\nCompetitors can enter by completing the electronic entry form which will be available shortly on the BMFA Scale Technical Committee (STC) Website. \nSpectators are welcome and can view proceedings from the seated gallery area overlooking the sports hall. The fee for spectators is £5.00 allowing entry for both days\, (free for accompanied under 16’s).  The University also provides ample free car parking for visitors. \nWhy not come along and take part or be simply inspired by viewing the best in UK and European Scale Indoor aeromodelling over the weekend.

SUMMARY:Tyldesley National League Competition
DESCRIPTION:This will be Tyldesley’s second year in hosting a UKF3A National League competition. A great flying site situated west of Manchester city centre\, near to the village of Astley. \nApproaching from the East. Access to the A580 East Lancashire Road\, Manchester to St Helens via the M60 ring road is signposted.  After crossing the junction for Higher Green\, and passing the next left turn for their Sunday market\, the site entrance is directly after the next layby\, you will notice directly opposite the entrance a break in the central reservation. Take care when turning right into the entrance as you will cross a cycle lane. \nApproaching from the West. again on the A580\, you will cross a roundabout with the Greyhound pub to your left. Straight over the round and continue to the next set of lights (U turns are prohibited) turn right into Higher Green Lane\, find a suitable place to turn around and return to the A580 and turn left. again when passing the next left turn for their Sunday market\, the site entrance is directly after the next layby\, you will notice directly opposite the entrance a break in the central reservation. Take care when turning right into the entrance as you will cross a cycle lane. \nOnce on the farmers lane beware of the speed bumps (model breakers) pass the first farm on the right and the house on the left. 50 yds on\, you will see the entrance to the field\, follow the track to the site cabin\, parking is plentiful but please park sensibly. \nToilet facilities\, hot water will be available on the day. \nThe prices vary depedning on the class you enter: \nClubman £8 \nIntermediate £16 \nAdvanced A-27 £22 \nP-27 £22 \nP-27 & F-27 £22
