SUMMARY:PANDAS Single-Channel & Retro R/C Event 2026
DESCRIPTION:This year’s meeting is on Saturday & Sunday\, August 22nd and 23rd 2026 so please keep those dates clear!Saturday the 22nd is the usual open fun-flying day (IC permitted)\,\nwhilst Sunday the 23rd sees the actual S/C and Retro RC event – nothing too formal\, we’ll no doubt\nhave the very popular and just-for-fun spot landing comp\, and a few prizes for anything special that catches our eye!\nOn the day we will be joined as usual by Wes and the SAM35 lads\, flying concurrently with the S/C and Retro enthusiasts. \nOur ‘theme’ this year is simply any model kitted in the 60s or 70s with a special category for unorthodox models\nsuch as canards\, ornithopters\, washboards\, broomstick witches etc of any size\, scaled up or down\, balsa or depron\, e- power or IC\, with single\, pulse\, reeds or propo. Plans are available on Outerzone\, so get creative\, get building and we can have a mass launch! \nOf course the theme is just one event of many and throughout the day any s/c\, retro or vintage models are welcome to fly\nOnce again we will also have a busy Control-Line circle with Dave demonstrating his stunting skills\nand possibly at Daves discretion\, the odd have-a-go session. \nUpdates and further information is available via the Mode-Zero forum\, pandas.bmfa.org and also on www.singlechannel.co.uk \nCamping is available over the weekend and the main gate will be open from 8:30am.\nAny queries to Shaun please on aeroomodeller@gmail.com (note the double ‘oo’)

DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Joint Helicopter Nationals (F3C / F3N / Scale) will be hosted by the Phoenix Model Flying Club\, London Colney\, Herts.  NOTE: this is also the third of 3 team trial events for F3N and the only team trial event for F3C.  Pre-registration is essential.  To register please email julie@flyinfish.co.uk.  Entry fee is £30 (snr) / £20 (jnr).  If you wish to enter more than one discipline\, any additional classes after your first\, will cost £10 each to enter.
