SUMMARY:SAM 35 Spring Gala
DESCRIPTION:SAM 35 Galas include all types of flying\, including vintage RC\, control line\, free flight\, and both rubber and IC powered\, with an amazing selection of scale models\, as well as tethered cars.  At the Galas there are always a number of competitions to enter\, such as Spot Landing and Vintage Power Duration.  However\, there’s never any pressure to take part\, if you wish to just observe or have some relaxed sports flying on the main flying strip\, that’s just fine. Also\, coinciding with the SAM 35 Galas is the excellent BMFA Swapmeets\, held on the Sunday mornings.

DESCRIPTION:The contest is open to anyone with a model meeting the BMFA FxRES rules. If you’ve not flown FxRES before\, you will be very welcome as an entrant\, a spectator or a helper. \nThis is a one-day event on either Saturday or Sunday\, a call will be made nearer the time to choose the day with the best weather. \nFxRES is a competition class for 2m-span thermal soaring models constructed mainly from wood. Contests are a variant of the provisional FAI classes F3L (bungee launch) and F5L (electric launch) to a simplified and relaxed format. Bungee and electric launch gliders compete side by side but with separate score sheets. A competitor can fly F3L or F5L or both. DESCRIPTION:This two-day event sees the finest indoor Scale aeromodellers from the UK and Europe converge on the West Midlands to compete at the BMFA Scale Indoor Nationals. \n\nSaturday sees the Scale Indoor RC Nationals take place followed on Sunday by the Scale Indoor FF Nationals.\nCompetitors can enter by completing the electronic entry form which will be available shortly on the BMFA Scale Technical Committee (STC) Website. \nSpectators are welcome and can view proceedings from the seated gallery area overlooking the sports hall. The fee for spectators is £5.00 allowing entry for both days\, (free for accompanied under 16’s).  The University also provides ample free car parking for visitors. \nWhy not come along and take part or be simply inspired by viewing the best in UK and European Scale Indoor aeromodelling over the weekend.
