SUMMARY:FxRES Cruckton - Challenge 6 from 10
DESCRIPTION:The contest is open to anyone with a model meeting the BMFA FxRES rules. If you’ve not flown FxRES before\, you will be very welcome as an entrant\, a spectator or a helper. \nThis is a one-day event on either Saturday or Sunday\, a call will be made nearer the time to choose the day with the best weather. \nFxRES is a competition class for 2m-span thermal soaring models constructed mainly from wood. Contests are a variant of the provisional FAI classes F3L (bungee launch) and F5L (electric launch) to a simplified and relaxed format. Bungee and electric launch gliders compete side by side but with separate score sheets. A competitor can fly F3L or F5L or both. SUMMARY:British Fun Fly Association’s Fun Fly Festival
DESCRIPTION:This is an event aimed at introducing new pilots to the wonderful sport of Fun Fly competition flying\, whatever their skill level or experience. Fun Fly is the perfect way into competition flying\, and is very affordable and accessible to everyone using normal\, club style sport models or Fun Fly designs. It is also a great event for the more experienced fun flyers to practice or see how their new models perform in some competitions. Classes for novice and expert fun flyers including the Foamy Class for standard\, out the box foamies. We at the BFFA always aim to show that Fun Fly competition is one of the friendliest and welcoming classes\, with classes suited to any skill level. It is also very rewarding and incredibly skillful at the top level\, but above all showing that competition flying can be incredibly FUN! \nThe event is open to any BMFA member\, with two separate days of competitions\, practice or instruction in fun fly competition flying with a variety of the favourite club style fun fly competitions to try. Trophies awarded both days. \nFor more information\, please see the BFFA website HERE \n£15 per pilot\, per day (paid on the day) and camping available from the Buckminster office. \nNewcomers are very much welcome\, so we’d very much like to see you and your club mates at Buckminster for some Fun! DESCRIPTION:The contest is open to anyone with a model meeting the BMFA FxRES rules. If you’ve not flown FxRES before\, you will be very welcome as an entrant\, a spectator or a helper. \nFxRES is a competition class for 2m-span thermal soaring models constructed mainly from wood. Contests are a variant of the provisional FAI classes F3L (bungee launch) and F5L (electric launch) to a simplified and relaxed format. Bungee and electric launch gliders compete side by side but with separate score sheets. A competitor can fly F3L or F5L or both. SUMMARY:Knettishall National League Competition
DESCRIPTION:Knettishall is a disused WW2 airfield and an ideal F3A site courtesy of the Bury MFC.  The take off and landing area is tarmac and of a good size.  Knettishall is approximately 12 miles to the NE of Bury St Edmunds. \nPlease note the route in which is essentially on the western side of the airfield and using the perimeter track to get around to the pits area.  Please see the attached PDF that has 3 views that give a number of key directions. \nI have included the Lat Long and the What3Words descriptions of the key points. \nAt the correct entrance to the airfield\, you see the UKF3A Signpost.  The Gate will be unlocked from soon after 7 am. \nDO NOT USE A POST CODE – YOU MAY BE TAKEN TO THE WRONG ENTRY GATE!\n\nThere will be the usual catering service to provide hot and cold drinks and snacks all day starting with egg and bacon baps at 08:30 and a BBQ for lunch at £5 per head.  I will collect the money on the day.  Please let me know if you will not be partaking of this service by posting on this thread. \nIf you prepared to judge\, please let me know as soon as possible.  This could be either as a pilot judge or pure judge.  Normal fees for judging will be paid for non-flying judges. \nThe prices vary depedning on the class you enter: \nClubman £8 \nIntermediate £16 \nAdvanced A-27 £22 \nP-27 £22 \nP-27 & F-27 £22
