PANDAS Single-Channel & Retro R/C Event 2025
July 12 - July 13

The 13th annual Single Channel & Retro R/C Fly-in at Pontefract Park, with hosts
PANDAS, the Pontefract And District Aeromodellers Society.
We have Saturday the 12th as an open fun-flying day (IC permitted), whilst Sunday the 13th sees
the actual S/C and Retro RC event – nothing too formal, we’ll no doubt have the very popular and just-for-fun spot landing comp,
and a few prizes for anything special that catches our eye!
On the day we will be joined as usual by Wes and the SAM35 lads, flying concurrently with the S/C and Retro enthusiasts.
Every year we have an optional ‘theme’ session – the theme model this year is simplicity itself, the all-sheet “Grocker” by Tore Paulsen,
of any size, scaled up or down, balsa or depron, e- power or IC, with single, pulse, reeds or propo. Plans are available on Outerzone, so get creative,
get building and we can have a mass launch!
This is a quick and straightforward build, being all sheet and can easily be built and finished in a couple of days of leisurely shed time from the scrap box.
Of course the theme is just one event of many and throughout the day any s/c, retro or vintage models are welcome to fly,
The main objective as usual is to get everyone interested in retro-R/C flying together for equal amounts of banter and button-bashing fun!
