Thank you for the feedback. We aren’t actually using the Organisers section on the events submission, they work like the Venues section does which means all event organisers will be in a drop down for anyone to select which I don’t think is appropriate,
the Contact details are Additional Custom fields instead.
I assume this is from the My Events List in edit your events?
Hi Andy, I only saw the organiser field when it was pending approval. Not a major issue as once approved all is OK.
Is the My Events part working? I don’t have any listed.
I was also looking to see if there is a way to copy a past event and edit it for the future. Just being able to have a series of events is a big bonus, so not too worried if I cannot copy. I have nine each winter, all the same except the date.

Not even sure it’s added to the calendar, unless it needs approval before appearing?
Other notes:
The what3words required a full URL not just the ///fatherly.overhead.hopping

Yes, click on Create or find a venue
Type the venue name in the box then click on create and complete the venue details. (Beware of auto fill though) 😉

Form a bit better than before, but we don’t have a city to add, only the village where the centre is. The venue address doesn’t display in the test view, nor do any of the contact details (name, e-mail address or phone no.). I don’t think that the venue phone no. is particularly useful – it appears to be optional. Once again not all the data submitted appears in the review. Our events are fortnightly, but this option is not available in the drop down – I would like to be able to add recurring events easily as in a full season (September to June) we have 20 indoor R/C small models events, 20 indoor F/F events, 10 medium hall indoor R/C events and 8 large hall indoor R/C events. I am very keen to get our events on the BMFA events website to try to maximise attendance.

I am planning on changing some of the text so where it currently says City it will say Nearest Town/City, of course that includes nearest village. 😉
All the entered information appears to show ok in the listing.
Venue phone number may be useful for some venues, for others not so much, however its optional.
For fortnightly events if you select weekly you then get an option to select 2 weeks which should meet what you need. You can also add more than one way of scheduling repeat events, for example you could schedule them for the first Monday of every month, then add a 2nd schedule for the third Monday in every month.
Contact name does not show as the organiser. There is no field for entering the organiser

Looks like you can edit a past event for the future, what I am not sure about is how long the past events stay available at the moment.
